Welcome to the Bulgaria and EU section on the site of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The Ministry of Finance has a leading role in the process of preparation of the Republic of Bulgaria for EU accession, with the Minister of Finance:
- coordinating the programming, management, monitoring and assessment of the financial aid provided to the Republic of Bulgaria under the EU pre-accession financial instruments;
- organising the preparation for the efficient and lawful management of the resources from the EU Structural Funds and Cohesion Fund in compliance with Republic of Bulgaria's policies for accession to the EU.
