All foreign investors on all continents trust the things done in Bulgaria. That is how Deputy Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov commented on bTV the outcome of the Eurobond issue of the Bulgarian government. He added that there is always a way of covering old state debts but a roll-over was considered more appropriate than using funds from the fiscal reserve. According to the Deputy Minister, each year our country would pay around BGN 60 million less compared to the old issue.

Vladislav Goranov also added that the Government managed to balance the 2012 budget, with preliminary data showing a positive balance for the first half of the year. He said it was a success that all state systems are inclined to spend as much as they produce. Mr. Goranov clarified that the measures taken to improve collection had led to an increase in revenue by hundreds of million leva.
