THE BUILDING OF A SINGLE INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR THE STATE ADMINISTRATION HAS BEEN LAUNCHED
06.02.2013
The work of the evaluation team for selection of projects under Administrative Capacity Operational Programme sub-priority 1.1. and 2.1 procedures has been completed. Almost BGN 5 million will be granted to build an integrated information system for the state administration. The aim is to make the work of the administration more effective and to ensure publicity, monitoring and control over the organization and activities of the administration. Thanks to the grant under OPAC a single information source will be set up integrating an administrative register, an information system for filling in the reports on the administration status, a system of unified administrative services names and a system for self-assessment of administrative services.
Almost three times more are the funds to be granted for enhancing the single information system for human resource management in the state administration.
The end result of the two projects will be the establishment and introduction of a single information system that will allow reflecting the state administration status in real time. The setting up of such a system is crucial for adequate management decision making when implementing the administrative reform policy.
The projects approved are among the OPAC priority ones and are fully consistent with the EU horizontal policies.
The contracting and the actual launching of both projects will be in February.
