The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Simeon Djankov had a business meeting with the General Secretary of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Enzo Quattrociocche. The two of them discussed some organizational issues related to the forthcoming events organized by EBRD until 2014. The Secretary General estimated highly the meetings held between the Finance Minister and the EBRD President Mr. Suma Chakrabarti. As Chair of the Board of Governors of EBRD, Mr. Simeon Djankov discussed the possibilities for new members joining the Bank. The Deputy Minister of Finance Mrs. Boryana Pencheva made Mr. Quattrociocche familiar with Bulgaria's macroeconomic indicators as well as with the ongoing budget procedure. Mr. Quattrociocche's programme also envisages meetings with Mrs. Yordanka Fandakova, Mayor of Sofia, and Mr. Assen Yagodin, Chair of the Managing Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Bulgarian Development Bank.
