MINISTRY OF FINANCE INTRODUCES SUCCESSFULLY E-TURNOVER TOGETHER WITH OTHER INSTITUTIONS

An e-turnover of documents among institutions took place today at the Ministry of Finance. The real electronic exchange of documents among the Ministry of Finance, the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works was demonstrated in the presence of Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications Valeri Borissov and representatives of the companies that developed the systems. The electronic exchange of documents among institutions is a step towards the establishment and functioning of e-government planned to optimize the wasted time, human resources and consumables.
The Ministry of Finance is the first institution able to participate in the protected information exchange environment set up and supported by Electronic Networks and Information Systems Executive Agency to the Ministry of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications. Information is dispatched in a predefined manner (information exchange protocol) detected by the various administrative information systems of the developing companies, transferred in a protected environment which is accessible by institutions only and is additionally encrypted.
The Ministry of Finance reorganized its operation with documents by introducing the Turnover Information System at the end of 2011 as certified in accordance with the requirements of the E-Government Law. Launching this system implements the E-Government Strategy of the Republic of Bulgaria 2010-2015 and the gradual shift towards electronic exchange of documents and delivery of e-services.
