Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Simeon Djankov and his deputy Karina Karaivanova will take part in the extraordinary ECOFIN meeting in Brussels.

The agenda includes issues related to the Banking Supervision Mechanism - a proposal for a regulation establishing a European Supervisory Authority (European Banking Authority) and a proposal for a regulation conferring specific tasks on the European Central Bank concerning policies relating to the control of credit institutions will be discussed at the meeting.
