More than 60 central administration experts took part in today\'s Operational Programme Administrative Capacity information day. The event was organized on the occasion of the opening of a new procedure under sub-priority 1.1 - Effective structure of the state administration, budget line BG051PO002/12/1.1-05. The aim of the procedure is optimizing the structures of the state administration to achieve better efficiency and avoid duplicating functions.
\"When developing the project proposals account should be taken of the projects under implementation in order to ensure the use of the outcomes and practices already available and to prevent double financing of activities and target groups\", the Head of OPAC Managing Authority Ms Monika Dimitrova said. She emphasized that according to the new project proposal assessment methods the quality and sustainability of the projects would be decisive. \"This means that clear and measurable indicators for assessing the project impact and benefits should be set in order to prevent future financial corrections \", Monika Dimitrova said.
Under this procedure a beneficiary can submit only one project proposal. If the projects approved exceed the total amount of the procedure budget then they would be financed in the order of their rating until budget depletion. Central administrations can apply with project proposals to optimize their work amounting of between BGN 50,000 and BGN 300,000 until 19 June. BGN 3 million in total can be granted under OPAC.
