OPAC DELIVERS BGN 20 MILLION TO CENTRAL AND REGIONAL ADMINISTRATION

Operational Programme Administrative Capacity provides another BGN 20 million for improving the qualification of staff in central and regional administrations through training country-wide. These funds are envisaged for the new procedure under budget line BG051PO002/12/2.2-08 of sub-priority 2.2 "Competent and effective public administration".
Projects will be funded to improve the professional competence of civil servants for more effective and efficient performance of their obligations. Calls for proposals may be submitted not later than 5.30 p.m. on 20 November 2012.
Central and regional administrations will be able to apply for a total of BGN 20 million, with the minimum and maximum threshold of individual projects being BGN 20,000 and BGN 90,000 respectively. Projects should be implemented within a period of 12 months. The guidelines as well as any other documentation for application are published in the New Procedures section on the website of OPAC: http://www.opac.government.bg/, as well as on the Single Information Web Portal: http://www.eufunds.bg/.
Any queries should be made not later than Tuesday, October 30, 2012, with the deadline for the answers of OPAC MA being not later than Friday, November 9, 2012. The Managing Authority will be having information days under the procedure in the six planning regions. The dates and the venues will be announced on the website of OPAC.
