\"Establishing a Credible Future\" is the topic of the presentation that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Simeon Djankov will make at a Fast Growing Markets Economists\' Roundtable within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (21 - 23 June 2012). Leading economists, lecturers, analysts and bankers from all over the world, among whom former Minister of Finance Aleksey Kudrin, Aleksey Moyseesv, Dr. Lucio Vinhas de Souza, Roland Nash, will take part in the panel dedicated to the key risks and opportunities for the global economy. At the Forum Minister Djankov will meet with representatives of the World Bank and with Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance of Singapore.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is being held for a 16^th time. This year the main sessions of the forum will be dedicated to the role of emerging markets in the formation of the regional and global agenda. The plenary session will be opened by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. 

After his participation in St. Petersburg, Simeon Djankov will fly to Luxembourg for the regular ECOFIN meeting.
