Payments under Operational Programme Administrative Capacity made in the first half of 2012 have increased by over 3.5 times compared to the same period of last year. As of end-June 2012, BGN 244,564,229.26, or 69.2%, of OPAC budget have been contracted. BGN 112,004,273.70, or 31.7%, of the Programme budget have been paid. This is evident from the report delivered by Ms. Monica Dimitrova, head of the OPAC Managing Authority, before the European Affairs and Control of EU Funds Committee in Parliament yesterday. The Programme is being implemented according to the estimates, while 94% of the funds forecasted in the Lothar System have been contracted, 99% verified and 100% certified. Furthermore, a new certification report to the amount of BGN 10,102,792.47 was submitted to the National Fund Directorate of the Ministry of Finance at the beginning of June, added Dimitrova.
