BGN 32.1 million has been paid to beneficiaries under Operational Programme Administrative Capacity (OPAC) in the first half of 2013. The sum is close to the funds paid for the whole previous year (BGN 34.9 million). The increase is almost three times compared with funds paid under the Programme in 2010 and 2011. Since the beginning of the programming period (2007-2013) BGN 165.9 million has been paid, being 47% of the OPAC total budget.

BGN 285 million or 81% of the total amount under OPAC has been contracted since the launching of the Programme. 80 grant procedures have been opened, more than 2500 projects submitted, almost 650 contracts signed with central and local administrations, judiciary institutions and civil society structures.

The next Certifying Authority Report is in the process of preparation and covers expenses incurred by beneficiaries pursuant to approved under Operational Programme Administrative Capacity projects. For the reporting period May-June 2013 the Managing Authority has verified expenses to the amount of BGN 10.9 million.
