The October budget is balanced. According to preliminary data and estimates for the Consolidated Fiscal Program (CFP), revenues exceed expenditure by around BGN 8 million on a monthly basis.

Revenues and grants for October amount to approximately BGN 1,996 billion. The amount of expenditure and the Republic of Bulgaria's contribution to the EU Budget is BGN 1,988 billion, the expenditure decrease compared to the same month of the previous year is around 9%.

As a result of the measures for expenditure cuts and better revenue collection the drastic monthly deficit for July (BGN 564.3 million) has shrunk and the October budget is balanced by a slightly better performance of revenues over expenditure.

The data for the implementation of the main CFP parameters are on a monthly basis and they are preliminary estimates for the consolidated budget (general government) implementation for October. The final data based on the FLSU reports for the cash implementation will be published at the end of November.
