The 2013 budget is feasible and the revenue side, though slightly different from the IMF one, is realistic, Deputy Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov said in interview for BNT. He added that every year there was growth in consumption and at the moment exports seriously outstripped imports. \"For this reason the VAT revenues will be slightly over one billion more\". The next year budget provides for around BGN 600 million expenditure for pensions, healthcare, education and culture, specified Vladislav Goranov, which \"makes us look for budget revenues\". According to the Deputy Minister of Finance by introducing tax on interest earnings an injustice will also be corrected because it is imbalanced to tax the minimum wage, but to exempt interest earnings. Vladislav Goranov thinks that by introducing the tax the banking secrecy will not be violated because the information about the people\'s deposits will not pass through the National Revenue Agency. Although the discussions on the topic have not been easy even at the MoF, a conclusion has been reached that this measure will stimulate the economy, Goranov further said.
