The Ministry of Finance has reopened a 6-year GS issue, which was placed on the auction held on 13.05.2024. The issue is BGN denominated, matures on 15.05.2030 and its annual interest coupon is 3.25%.

The issue was increased by BGN 200 million at the auction held on 08 July 2024, reaching BGN 600 million in nominal value. The annual weighted average yield at the auction for the reopening of the issue is 3.82%.

The subscribed amount totalled BGN 259.4 million, which corresponds to a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.3. The recorded spread to the analogous German Bunds is 132 basis points. As regards participants, banks acquired the biggest amount of GS at the auction – 79.9 %, followed by insurance companies – 10.2 %, pension funds – 9.5 %, investment intermediaries – 0.3 %, and other investors – 0.1%.
