Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov will take part in the meeting of the Economic and Financial Affairs Council (ECOFIN) to be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 10 November 2015.

EU Finance Ministers are expected to adopt Council conclusions on the Commission action plan on building a Capital Markets Union. During the meeting the Commission will present the state of play of the implementation of the legal acts linked to the banking union. The Commission will also present the package of measures which is a follow-up to the Five Presidents' Report on completing the European Economic and Monetary Union.

The Council will also hold an orientation debate with a view to a political agreement on bridge financing in the context of the single resolution mechanism.

ECOFIN will adopt draft Council conclusions on climate finance. The agenda includes follow-up to the G-20 and IMF meetings in Lima from 8 to 11 October 2015.
