\"A separate law that is different from that on administration will determine the size of the salaries of top public administration officials\", said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Simeon Djankov on BNT. The situation with the bonuses that occurred has confirmed the need for a transparent regulation determining the remuneration of both public administration employees and political persons, the Deputy Prime Minister explained.

The Finance Minister also announced on BNT that by end-March it would be possible for citizens to make bank transfers to the budget via point-of-sale terminals without paying any charges for that. Contracts have already been signed between the Ministry of Finance, BNB and the commercial banks entitled to deliver services through the SEBRA system, Minister Djankov confirmed.
