\"Initially we will try to act within the framework of the current budget in order to implement what has been voted as of the moment\", Minister of Finance Petar Chobanov stated in an interview for Duma daily. He added that it was yet early to speak about revision of the budget and an analysis of the situation found was pending first. According to Minister Chobanov\'s words \"if required, we would make some changes to the budget\".

The Finance Minister further commented that \"the budget itself is oriented in such way that there are no reserves, no buffers and that has additionally exhausted the reserves available for manoeuvres from now on\". The Minister reminded that \"we are to repay debt assumed by the previous government to the amount of BGN 800 million in August for which at this point it seems that there is money in the fiscal reserve\".

According to Chobanov, given the institutional situation of the State, the regulatory mechanisms should be activated and the general framework set up wherein the businesses will operate.
