Minister of Finance Petar Chobanov will take part in the informal meeting of the Economic and Financial Affairs Council (ECOFIN) which will be held on 1 and 2 April 2014 in Athens.

At the forum, the Bruegel trust will present a report on \"Europe\'s growth and social problem and what to do about it\". The ministers of finance will discuss the economic outlook, financial stability and risks to the economic outlook. The agenda also includes discussion of issues related to financing the economy. The meeting will also have a look at the European Commission\'s legislative proposals for the banking structure reform. The state of play of the SSM implementation will also be discussed. Council members will give a mandate for the preparation of the G20 Finance Ministers meeting to be held on 11 April 2014 in Washington.

The 13^th FEMIP meeting will also take place within the framework of the Council meeting.
