The Ministry of Finance reopened the 10-year issue of Government Securities (GS) with maturity 22 February 2025. At the auction held on 19 October 2015 GS with nominal value BGN 65 million were offered and orders to the amount of BGN 50 million were approved. An annual average weighted yield of 2.48% was achieved. The total amount subscribed reached BGN 123.11 million, the coverage coefficient being 1.89.

The spread to the benchmark German Bunds in this segment is 197 b.p.

The banks acquired 34.80% of the GS offered at the auction, pension funds - 13.20%, insurance companies - 6%. 46.00% of the GS volume was acquired by other investors.
