Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov will take part in the meeting of the Economic and Financial Affairs Council (ECOFIN) to be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 25 May 2018.

The intentions of the Presidency are during the meeting the Council to achieve a general approach on the banking package, the proposal on the measures to strengthen administrative cooperation in the field of VAT, the VAT generalised reverse charge mechanism and the VAT on e-publications. According to the agenda, the Council is also expected to adopt conclusions on the 2018 in-depth reviews and implementation of the 2017 country-specific recommendations as well as conclusions on the 2018 Ageing Report.

In the framework of his visit to Brussels Minister Goranov will also take part in the annual session of the Economic and Financial Dialogue between the EU and the Western Balkans and Turkey.
