Three new procedures totalling BGN 35 million have been approved by the Administrative Capacity Operational Programme Monitoring Committee. The 2013 Indicative Annual Working Programme (IAWP) of OPAC provided for four procedures totalling BGN 18.850 million for the central and local administrations and the Council of Ministers. Following an OPAC Monitoring Committee procedure to amend the IAWP three new financing options have been added. Two of the procedures are under Priority Axis II - Human Resource Management, the beneficiaries being central, district and local administrations and the Institute of Public Administration. The third procedure is under Priority Axis III - Quality Administrative Services and E-governance Development and the applicant thereunder can be the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications. The inclusion of the new tenders for projects in the IAWP aims to improve the qualifications of civil servants and to enhance the environment for better administrative services.
