Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Simeon Djankov takes part in the Poland-Central Europe-China Economic Forum that is being held today in Warsaw. The meeting will be attended by the Prime Minister of Poland Mr. Donald Tusk, heads of government from Central and Eastern Europe and the Prime Minister of the People's Republic of China Wen Jiabao. Participants will assess the economic cooperation and will discuss the possibilities for enhancing this cooperation in the field of regional trade and investment. Good partnership between China and the European countries in the region is traditional and forms a substantial part of the relations between the Asian republic and Europe.

At the invitation of the Prime Minister of the People's Republic of China Mr. Wen Jiabao, there will be a meeting between Mr. Jiabao and Deputy Prime Minister Djankov after the forum. Among the topics of discussion will be the interest of Chinese investors in projects in Bulgaria.
