\"The 2013 budget is a step towards an increase in income\", said Deputy Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov in the Referendum programme on BNT. Throughout its term of office the ruling party, GERB, has paid BGN 9 billion more for pensions than the previous government. We are having a stable cushion for the debt refinancing coming next year, said Mr. Goranov.

There were negative economic scenarios across Europe, not only in Bulgaria. This government has not given any causes to consider that we are a country at risk, added Mr. Goranov.  \"We have taken courage to bear the consequences of a conservative policy that we follow\", said the Deputy Minister of Finance. This is a realistic budget and it will not be necessary to have it updated in the middle of next year, concluded Mr. Vladislav Goranov.
