Financial stability would enable a VAT reduction by 2013, which would be a good incentive for domestic consumption. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Simeon Djankov projected the above in \"Tazi Sutrin\" programme on bTV. In addition to the improved performance of revenue administrations which have increased revenues by BGN 1,5 billion on an annual basis, another reason for optimism is the determination and mobilization of European leaders last month to overcome the debt crisis, commented the Deputy Prime Minister. He added that the tax reduction could not exceed 2%.

Year 2012 will be better than the previous years because Bulgaria is following the right direction and has good indicators of economic growth. The increase of the minimum salary and the increase of the income from pensions in the coming year are an indicator of a more successful 2012. The focus next year will also be on unreformed sectors such as education and healthcare. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, at this stage only partial reform is possible in the healthcare sector because a full reform would need much more time.

The high level of inter-company indebtedness in the country is not due to the government, stressed the Finance Minister and reminded that in the course of the current year the cabinet paid off its liabilities to businesses.
