The Ministry of Finance reopened the 7 year issue of EUR denominated Government Securities (GS) issued on 12 February 2014 with maturity 12 February 2021. At the auction held on 24 November 2014 GS to the amount of BGN 35 million have been placed and the annual average weighted yield achieved is 2.28% The participants showed strong interest and the total amount subscribed reached EUR 110.125 million, the coverage coefficient being 3.15.

The biggest amount of GS acquired banks - 49.07%, followed by pension funds - 45.40%, insurance companies - 4.61% and guarantee funds - 0.92%.
