\"There is no risk of losing funds in 2012 under Operational Programme Administrative Capacity and the envisaged amounts will even be over-negotiated\", said the Head of the Programme Monika Dimitrova during the annual information event of OPAC, where the progress and the actual results of successfully implemented OPAC projects were presented. The expectations are another 19 contracts for over BGN 17 million to be concluded under OPAC by the end of 2011, and thus the resources agreed under the Programme in 2011 will exceed BGN 81 million. 9 procedures totalling BGN 43 million are to be opened in 2012, said Dimitrova and added that efforts would be focused on a reform in the judiciary and the local administration. We also envisage procedures for integration of disadvantaged employees in district and municipal administrations. To date we have negotiated 57% of the funds under OPAC, with 27% of them being paid out.

During the event the beneficiaries with the most successful OPAC projects so far - the National Assembly, the Prosecutor\'s Office, the municipality of Gabrovo, the Smolyan municipality of Banite, the National Centre for Information and Documentation and Vratsa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received certificates from the Head of the Managing Authority. The results from the activities under these projects are mainly related to the introduction of new e-services for citizens and businesses, provision of information and improvement of interaction among institutions.
