Galya Dimitrova has a university degree in Economics and over 25 years of experience in the revenue administration. She has been Director General and Deputy Director General of the National Revenue Agency and has took a number of senior positions in the system - Head of the Audits Division and Director of the Performance Management Division at the NRA Head Office and Director of the Large Taxpayers and Contributors Territorial Division. As Deputy Director General of the NRA, Ms. Dimitrova was in charge of part of the operational activities, including control activities in the Revenue Agency.

In performing hер functions Galya Dimitrova manages and coordinates the activity of The National Revenue Agency, The National Customs Agency and The Public Procurement Agency.

She conducts the operational management and coordination of the activities of the Tax Policy Directorate at MoF.
